Bianca N. Cotton, a proud graduate of Chicago Public Schools and a native of the South Side of Chicago, has emerged as a significant figure in literature, television, and personal development. She is the author of nine impactful books, the host of a signature show on CANTV, and the founder of the transformative movement, Behind the Confident Smile, which has been a beacon of hope and change for seven years.
The Behind the Confident Smile movement addresses the silent struggles of women who often hide behind their smiles while caring for others. Bianca encourages these women to prioritize their own healing and build stronger relationships with themselves. Her podcast has resonated deeply, reaching over 90,000 people in just one season, and serves as a source of strength and confidence for many.
Most recently named the Healing Academy’s 2024 Literacy Award Honoree. The Literacy Award recognizes individuals who use literacy as a tool to heal themselves and the communities they serve.
